Mrs. Roy Lough d. at Culver Hosp. early on Mond. morning. Fun. serv. were conducted at the home of Mr. Lough's father, Joseph Lough, near Marshall by Rev HC Riley on Tues. afternoon. Interment in the Bethany Cemetery Mrs. Anna Irene Lough was the daughter of Howard I. Demaree. Her mother, Elizabeth Campbell Demaree d. sev. years ago. Besides the father she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harry Canine of New Ross and Miss Betty Demaree; two brothers, Samuel and John; a half sister, Dorothy. She was b. Dec 21, 1880 and was reared on the farm near Byron. She grad. from the Waveland HS with the class of 1909. She marr. Roy E. Lough Dec 25, 1911 and they have since lived on a part of the Joseph Lough farm. It was found necessary to perform the Ceasarian operation on her on Sun. afternoon and from this she failed to rally. The following is from the obit: She was dedicated to the Lord by the rite of baptism when she was a baby in the Presbyt. Church in Waveland and this has always been the faith and Church of her choice. Her girlhood life was of the abundant full kind, full of life, fun and energy, happy, sunny and cheerful, even tempered. She was greatly loved & respected by all who knew her. Those attending the fun. from a distance were; Miss Helen Campbell and Douglas Carpenter of Cincinnati; Mr. & Mrs. Shaw, Mr. & Mrs. TL Canine, Crawfordsville; Hal Dronberg, Mrs. Walter Himmelbaughter, Terer haute; Mr. Kerr and family, Hillsboro; Nelson Lough and family, Hillsboro; Mr. & Mrs. Harry Canine, New Ross.
